The Danny Faure Foundation is organising an Ocean Fair from 1st – 3rd June 2023 at the Camion Hall, in Victoria, to celebrate World Oceans Day.
The objective of the fair is to sensitise the public on the importance of a sustainable ocean.
“We are excited to welcome everyone to the Fair as the participants gather to showcase all the amazing work that they are doing for the protection, conservation and sustainable development of the ocean”
The Ocean Fair will include the participation of the following governmental and educational institutions, the fisheries industry, NGOs and local artisans:

The stalls will have informational materials on display, educational games where visitors can test their knowledge and items on sale. The Danny Faure Foundation will also have its own range of memorabilia – some of which are locally made by Seychellois artisans – on sale for the first time.
There will be a special attraction for children in the centre of the fairground.
Members of the public will be able to visit the Fair on the following days;
Thursday 1st June from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Friday 2nd June from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 3rd June from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
