The Danny Faure Foundation has published Series 2 of ‘My Leadership Journey’ – a set of short interviews with leaders in a particular domain with the aim of inspiring future leaders. Series 2 focuses on leaders in the fields of environment conservation, protection and research who share their experiences to aspiring leaders. My Leadership Journey is an initiative of the Danny Faure Foundation. The project is in line with the Foundation’s fourth pillar which focuses on contributing towards the promotion of effective leadership and gender equality in a new generation of leaders in Africa.

The second series showcases interviews with three personalities in environment protection, conservation, education and research to coincide with World Environment Day on 5th June and World Oceans Day on 8th June.

Ambassador Peter Thomson – United Nations Secretary General’s Special Envoy on Oceans

Dr. Nirnal Jivan Shah – a nature conservationist and CEO of Nature Seychelles;

Ms. Helena Sims – Coordinator of the Marine Spatial Planning Initiative (Seychelles) at The Nature Conservancy;

 Ms. Jeanette Larue – Environment educator and director general for public education and community outreach in the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture;
