The Ministry of Education of Cabo Verde signs the Memorandum of Understanding on the Danny Faure Foundation Ocean Chapter
The Ministry of Education of Cabo Verde signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Danny Faure Foundation (DFF) on The Ocean Chapter, under the DFF International Chapters.
The MoU was signed between Former President Danny Faure, DFF’s Founder and Chairman, and the Minister of the Sea of Cabo Verde, Mr. Abraão Vincente. The Prime Minister of Cabo Verde, H.E. José Ulisses Correia e Silva, was also in attendance. The signing ceremony took place on 25th January 2023, in Cabo Verde.
The Ocean Chapter provides a platform where schools and educational institutions, local and abroad, can establish networks amongst themselves with the goal to further empower their ocean champions. The Chapter provides a platform for the exchange and sharing of experiences, capacity building initiatives, educational programmes and activities related to ocean protection and preservation.
The Danny Faure Foundation International Chapters are platforms, created by the DFF, where like-minded institutions or organisations can develop and showcase their efforts in promoting ocean protection and preservation, ocean governance, transparency, accountability, good governance, leadership, and the blue economy, and empowering the youth, through activities or projects that are aligned with the objectives of the Foundation.
